Seriously ClubMed, dude you seem to have a very un-natural obsession with Bush, Hussein, WMDs and this whole affair.

So do I. Especially the cover ups and scams Bush and Cheney are involved in. Financial scams particularly. To enrich themselves at the cost of ordinary American and Iraqi citizens.

Shame on Bush.

Rightfully so, Bush was all over this information that IRAQ had not complied with NATO sanction, and he had PROOF that Iraq was still holding WMD, This means either he was mis-informed (unlikely) or there was another reason for this war (let's just watch where the $ for rebuilding goes) and for those of you that think the money is coming from the US, as per bush, the costs of the war will be taken from iraq, that also includes re-building, so let's all together say

Woohoo bush, you have given freedom to a country that has no chance of survival because the cost of that freedom was measured in US$ and will be returned to the US from the exports of IRAQ (where else are they gonna get the money)

Perhaps this will look more sour when put into a different light.

Bush DEFIED Nato (AKA WORLD) and attacked a country that was ordered to disarm before the war. That is about as low as someone can get, if he needs to show he has a pair, go beat up an old grandma with a walker, She'll have more of a chance then the country he just assaulted with no REAL CAUSE.

Finally. Does anyone remember the line from "Rush Hour 2": "Follow the rich white dude".

Racist or not, that line has been echoing around my mind for the last couple weeks.

Why doesn't Bush just go to the chemical and biological production factories from the satellite photos? He used them in front of congress as just cause for the war. So why don't he just go there and show the world these factories?

Or provide the photos so that the truth can be known. If the evidence was there, but was wrong, that is one thing. But if the evidence was NOT there, and he invaded anyway, that is a totally different scenario.

*************************************************

I've said it before and I will say it again; Show us the MONEY.

Why is a line item listing of budget money for the Iraq occupation/rebuilding considered top secret? How does allowing the world to see how the USA rebuilds and liberates Iraq interfere with USA security?

Why was Halliburton awarded the contract to repair and utilize the Iraqi oil fields ASAP, while food and medicine are still being arranged? And why Halliburton? Even with the best bid, best company, the stink of favoritism should have pushed this off to the second best. (Are they the ONLY company that can handle this contract?)

Meanwhile, how are the economy is crumbling around our ears. But the idle rich (no direct income, but lots of dividends/interest...) are just trucking to the bank. The top twenty (twenty five?) CEO's here in Michigan averaged over 4 million last year, up from all previous years. But the average income in Michigan (when unemployed are accounted) is down to less than twenty thousand.

So, let's apply that "Follow the rich white guy" theory. Bush and Cheny are both pocketing hand over fist. Enron got away with pot of gold. Halliburton is swimming in black gold. How many others can you see just in your common everyday life? (Does anyone HAVE a common everyday life?)

Yes, I am very much opposed to the actions in invading this nation. Yes, I am opposed to this closed door government style. And yes, I am opposed to the current trend of sticking it to the working class. (Remember WW2 and Rosie the riveter? We saved your bacon then, and a hundred times since.) Yes, I have strong views regarding the actions of President G W Bush.

But, no, I have nothing personally against the man, George.

This cold has even messed with my typing...

Carl, take a Tylenol PM and don't get up till tomorrow.

As to your question in the end, the answer is the money for rebuilding Iraq will indirectly be funneled to the Bush and Cheney clan and make them even richer and fatter than they are.

At the expense of 200 or more US marines killed, the thousands of Iraqi civilians killed and the unknown number of more casualties yet to come. The Iraqis have vowed to execute one US Marine every day till the invaders leave.

This is why I hold such contempt for people like Bush--they value money more than lives of the very people who elected him.

Bush is morally/financially corrupt to an extreme not seen in US politics in a very long time.

GZ3: Was speaking of the specific instances of photos and other hard evidence of factories and production industry. I was not saying that the known facts (yes, many nations sold Iraq WMD. Yes, the records of what and where are fuzzy at best) are wrong.

Shahani: Tylenol was thursday. Now working my way thru prescriptions. This sucks (and blows...)

I just wanted to rant about what has had me so "anti Bush". I am not "anti-Bush" just "anti invasion for profit". "Anti-closed door government". "Anti special treatment for the rich". (Speaking of which, why is setting a tax free lower limit and then a flat tax so wrong? Say something along the line of fifty thousand tax free then tax at forty percent?)

Just wish that making it clear that I am against policies and actions, not people in particular. I have never met any of the people in office now, and only 'met' president Ford at a speech once. I probably know more about the personal lives of the people on this board than I do about the personal lives of politicians.

************************************************

Just ran the spell check. I misspelled politicians so badly that pollution was the first guess, politicians the last...

"George W. Bush ... and with a straight face to boot. Althought the umemployed and elderly who need prescription drug coverage aren't laughing....."

From the funniest actor thread.. Need to add to that sentence.." as well as our dead marines and their families."

This president has caused more greif and hardship for more Americans in the shortest amount of time and the ripples of his actions will haunt us and our children for the rest of humanity.

Not true. the whole world suspected it and wanted inspections. Bush stated it like he was sure. He bet the whole war on it.

Most countries did not support him implicitly. They agreed not to oppose him.

There can be no doubt about the certainity with which Bush made his case. So either he lied or the Intelligence agencies finangled it. In either case, he is left carrying the accountability as Chief Executive.

Still, until Bush is proven to be a liar by independent bipartisan investigation, we must wait for the WOMD to surface anywhere.

Further, even the whole world said there were WOMD, does it make Bush any more right?

After all the whole world did not invade another soverign nation.

Bush did.
