Finally. Does anyone remember the line from "Rush Hour 2": "Follow the rich white dude".
Racist or not, that line has been echoing around my mind for the last couple weeks.
Why doesn't Bush just go to the chemical and biological production factories from the satellite photos? He used them in front of congress as just cause for the war. So why don't he just go there and show the world these factories?
Or provide the photos so that the truth can be known. If the evidence was there, but was wrong, that is one thing. But if the evidence was NOT there, and he invaded anyway, that is a totally different scenario.

I've said it before and I will say it again; Show us the MONEY.
Why is a line item listing of budget money for the Iraq occupation/rebuilding considered top secret? How does allowing the world to see how the USA rebuilds and liberates Iraq interfere with USA security?
Why was Halliburton awarded the contract to repair and utilize the Iraqi oil fields ASAP, while food and medicine are still being arranged? And why Halliburton? Even with the best bid, best company, the stink of favoritism should have pushed this off to the second best. (Are they the ONLY company that can handle this contract?)
Meanwhile, how are the economy is crumbling around our ears. But the idle rich (no direct income, but lots of dividends/interest...) are just trucking to the bank. The top twenty (twenty five?) CEO's here in Michigan averaged over 4 million last year, up from all previous years. But the average income in Michigan (when unemployed are accounted) is down to less than twenty thousand.
So, let's apply that "Follow the rich white guy" theory. Bush and Cheny are both pocketing hand over fist. Enron got away with pot of gold. Halliburton is swimming in black gold. How many others can you see just in your common everyday life? (Does anyone HAVE a common everyday life?)
Yes, I am very much opposed to the actions in invading this nation. Yes, I am opposed to this closed door government style. And yes, I am opposed to the current trend of sticking it to the working class. (Remember WW2 and Rosie the riveter? We saved your bacon then, and a hundred times since.) Yes, I have strong views regarding the actions of President G W Bush.
But, no, I have nothing personally against the man, George.
