This burns me up too. (btw, if you didn't catch it, that first part was total sarcasm) Sex offenders have shown time and time again that they are not helped with rehabilitation. A slap on the wrist does not help. This is one reason why I am glad my wife always carries wherever she goes. I know she has the training and gumption to protect herself from such vermin. Another point that goes along with this is that some activist groups do not think that we should publish the fact that a person is a sex offender. I think the entire town should be sent a letter knowing exactly who is a sex offender and where they live, so they are not the next victim. Studies and experience have shown that an almost complete majority of these people are not capable of rehabilitation and that they will strike again. This woman should sue the people responsible for letting this man go free. It is truly sickening that our populace is subjected to this terror and insecurity. You have the right to freedom and privacy until you give them up by committing a heinous crime such as this.
