The Ring was a bit messed up. Any movie with some freaky small girl is normally a bit disturbing.
While you're at it, watch Ringu.

Rose Red is a good one, my kids still won't go outside after dark.Of course anything with Steven King is a good choice,IMO.
Wes Cravens new Nightmare is good kinda weak in the scream factor though.

ya the ring was definatly scary for me anyways. we didn't like it too well, had we known it was going to be like that we would have never watched it.

Yeah, I heard the Ring was pretty scary, never seen it myself tho. All the scary movies that I've watched, I either find really stupid or really funny.
