HAHAHAHAHAHA, well, if I ever get to Texas, I know who to hang with!
Funny thread,
BobO.... I've always had weird eating habits, to wit:
1) The hot stuff is attacked first. The salad is the finale. I cannot understand why anybody would go for the salad first, as the meat and (cooked) veggies are quickly going cold. What is THAT about?
2) As a child, I would eat in a pattern, one component at a time...meat (when there was meat) first, then the yucky veggies.
Recently, I've been enjoying mixing them up, but am finding that there is an ART to matching foods. I guess that's why those French Chefs make the big bucks, as I've noticed that a fancy French dinner (also Japanese)
all the courses happen to be harmonious!
Oh, and DEATH to Cauliflower and Brussels Sprouts! GAH!
