I think judges are appointed for life and retire when they wish.

Federal judges are. In states (and municipalities) they're generally either elected or appointed for terms.

So, a JUDGE accusing you of incest or some such thing WHILE IN COURT is ok if he laughs about it? What about racial slurs? What do you think he would do if you accused him of something similar only to say you were only kidding.
