USPS where the S does not stand for service
I really don't ask or expect much of the USPS but they are getting worse, something I once thought impossible. Over the past two months, they have sent mail to somewhere unknown, took 4 weeks to get a letter from Texas to Michigan, sent mail designated to a zipcode 60 miles away to Tucson, AZ, sent mail addressed to me to Utah, and took 2 and 1/2 weeks to deliver my bank statement (bank is 4 miles away in a nearby town) Complaining does no good, "it isn't us, it's the machines!) Do machines open mail too, I am wondering. Maybe they get bored and curious? Is this just a midwest problem. My favorite quote from a postmaster "we don't insure it for getting lost, just if it is broken if it arrives!" None of the problems can be blamed on handwriting as my printer works just fine.
