What pets do you have?

I'm thinking of getting a cat. I haven't decided if it's going to be an adult or a kitten. I work a lot of 11 hour days, so I don't have time to give a dog the attention it needs. Plus, cats are cleaner and more independent.

So, I was wondering if TIMOers were inclined to have pets, because surely you don't just spend all your time in front of the screen.

So what pets do you have, and what are their names?

What's with so many ducks around here?

Two DOOGs (although both are smal enough to be rather large mice).

Did have bunches of fish and 6 hermit crabs, but those are gone now.

Three dogs. One brown-round lab, one shepherd-collie mix, one mastiff-shepherd tall deer-type funny eared whip-tail sort of canine. (The long one can stand with her paws easily on my shoulders and is such a sweet animal, though strangers do not like her!!!) Recent addition, Koi and some visiting frogs. Do the dragonflies and hummingbirds count???

Shahani, a while ago (prob 5-6 pages back at least), some nice TIMOer posted a find or make ur own duck avatar link and so many people just turned ducky! It spread like wildfire and I used all of my resistance to quack with the rest.... guess it's just one of those things....

Guess I've been away too long.

Wish i could keep a dog -- a cocker spaniel would do just fine. But they're strict in my building and the wife hates cats-says they're too sneaky and vain.

I have a black/brown mixed breed dog named pepsi cola. I live with my sis and she have 3 cats (miller, willy, and brucie) and a cockatile named monty.
