Ack!! Business Oppourtunity Help

I've recently become aware of a potential business oppourtunity that involves the purchase of some property. I see some absolutely incredible potential here that I'm sure few (if any) others see, and I just .. absolutely cannot pass this up.

The problem? No money.

I have nobody I can borrow from (including the bank). WHERE can I get the money to do this?!!

I'm even considering investors, but I have two problems with that, mainly because I'm unfamiliar with approaching them.

1) I don't know what prevents them from taking my idea and running with it... Do an NDA and Non-Compete agreement prevent this?

2) I'm not interested in the burden of investors.

Any advice would be helpful!!!!!!

Thankyou

R.P.

Well, among other things, if you want to attract investors, nothing make a bad impression worse than poor spelling. So learn how to spell "opportunity".

Anybody can borrow money if you have even the slightest credit rating. A small personal loan, provided you have the wherewithal to pay it back, might be enough to seal a handshake deal. But more serious investors in your idea will want to share in the return, so be prepared to make some promises.

I wrote the thread in about 30 seconds. Give me a break.

The "slightest credit rating" won't get anywhere close to the lump sum that I'm in need of.

I'll contact a few associates and see what they have to say.

Nevertheless, thanks for the information.

I'll give you a break.

Anyone can borrow a few thousand dollars to sign a contract. That's all you need to get started. But don't make too many promises.
