OMG, this is the best show ever...

BULLSH*T!. It's a series on Showtime, Penn & Teller's Bullsh*t! This has got to be the greatest and best show that has ever aired.

The entire first season has already aired on Showtime but they are still showing replays of it. Personally I just downloaded the episodes via the newsgroups.

I've always liked Penn & Teller, and this show is simply perfect for Penn's attitude. They take on popular topics in our society and expose them for the lies and scams that they are. Everything from these jerkoffs that claim they can talk to the dead (like John Edwards) to Creationism . Some of the other topics include:

Feng Shui
Alien Abductions
Alternative Medicine
Bottled Water
Second Hand Smoke
Environmentalism

The show's not for everyone. I'm sure some of you will have issues with it. But for those of you that are sound, logically thinking, rational individuals, I highly recommend viewing this series. I promise you'll love it.

I'd say those are the best. Although they're all good.

Penn and Teller are AB-FAB...they did a Playboy interview which wiped me out...

And I got a trick out of it, which goes like this:

Next time you're at a coffee shop with some friends, pick up one of those little "fresh cream" units....you know, the ones that have a half ounce of cream, with the little foil top, that you pull back and pour into your coffee?

So first, you start toying with a fork, waving the prongs real close to your EYE...

for some reason, people get really interested when someone is waving a sharp object real close to their eye...

Now that you've set 'em up (your friends, I mean) you palm the little creamer deal, so that the foil top faces your fingers. You put the bottom end against your eye...

Then you say, "Hey! Get a load of THIS!" and insert the fork between your fingers, using it to pierce the foil top, then you squeeze the little container so that the cream splashes out between your fingers.

As you do this, it is customary to make blood-curdling SCREAMS to heighten the effect! Cool, huh?

I'm on a very successful diet now. The way it works is, I don't have these fattening brunches with my buddies anymore.

Hmmm! Wonder why...

Funny thing....I read this thread a while ago, and thought it sounded like a great show, as I'd always liked Penn and Teller. I had no idea they had their own cable TV show.

I got offline and turned on the one TV station I get and there's Penn and Teller on Fear Factor. Before this thread, I thought they were doing nothing but Vegas, and here twice in one day, I hear about them twice....two more times than I'd heard about them in as many years. Go figure.

In the end they (actually, Teller did all the stunts) lost in the final round to Keesha Knight Pullam, a former Cosby kid. They gave their $10,000 in prize money to the ACLU.

I hope to catch BULLSH*T when I make it back Stateside.
