WOOOHOOOO Huge Congrats!!!!
Ok for the past 2 years or so after my g/f graduated from College she's been doing the flooding of applications to schools, loads of interviews etc that many of you are familiar with with no luck, in the meantime she's worked two jobs... one part time teaching getting some experience and getting to know the faculty in her building. The 2nd job a job she absolutely LOATHES, BUT because her teaching job was only part time she did not get benefits... so her 2nd job gave her medical benefits that are of course required these days.

Well...
Today she was OFFICIALLY Given the job of a full-time first grade teacher in her school

Then to top it off there was one other position of 1st grade teacher open, and a good friend who also taught part time in that same school got THAT job!!!

So as you can imagine today was a HUGE day for her, and I'm INCREDIBLY PROUD of her She kept putting out the applications, she stuck with it and today she gets her reward!!!

Yes its an ENORMOUS weight off of her shoulders knowing she has a job every school year now

I'm gonna show her this thread later after she gets out of work
