Wife had a wreck.

Everyone's OK, thank God. She was coming home from picking my son up at work. She had gone down a road she's not familiar with to drop off one of my son's co-workers. On the way back she ran up on a stop sign she didn't expect and didn't stop in time. She hit a Ford pickup in the right rear as it went by. She was in a Nissan Quest.

It was a realy close call. If she had been a little sooner or the Ford truck a little later she would have been hit right in the door. The Nissan's a mess in the front. The airbag deployed but my wife and son are unhurt.

Had to borrow my dad's old car because we still haven't replaced our Camry that got totaled when someone pulled out in front of me a month and a half ago. I haven't had much luck with vehicles lately. I am very thankful that I still have my wife and son.

Mike

Glad everybody is OK!
The car while being valuable isn't nearly as valuable as the lives of your family

They'll be a bit sore for awhile from the shock of the accident but hopefully everybody will be back to normal soon

Take care of them and yourself

Its ironic to see the situation from this side, I have seen scenarios like this, with me being on the other side (like that truck driver) I wasn't very happy.

Luckily no one was hurt.

I wasn't too happy when the guy pulled out in front of me and totaled my Camry so I know where your'e comming from. I don't know how the guy my wife hit felt (probably pretty PO'ed), I'm just overjoyed no-one was hurt and that I still have my wife and son.
