We have this snake and lately she has been ejecting some weird stuff. We don't know if its throw up or if its she is ejecting deformed eggs or whatever.
I don't havea picture of this. she has only done this twice now. but it storta resembles unchewed puke. but its not, its coming out of her rectom. its like little over mishappen eggs about the size of peanuts and they are offwhite to whitish color. it always accompanies some browish goey stuff. Anyone know what this is? Do snakes go through like a mentral cycle of sorts if they don't get bred to they shed the unfertilized eggs or what? Or is she just having a bad case of the poops?
Its an egglayer for sure---what you describe sound like "duds" aka non fertile eggs (but could be fertile eggs) these females store sperm and can have 2-3 successive clutches of fertile egg hatchlings from a single encounter with a male (snakes are SOOO cool!)---
OR---what are you feeding her/how long have you had her (her for sure?)---mice will come out as a calcium colored odd shaped peanutlike poopy thing with a "discharge" of brown gooey stuff...
She could also barf up un-digested food if she isnt kept warm enough---but I doubt thats your situation, those might be fertile eggs that will hatch out if you allow them to, the miss-shaped appearance is from having a wadded up baby snake inside of it---if you can, open one of the odd things up (before tossin em or whatever youve been doin with em) and look closer---or she could be proudly presenting you with healthy snake scat (poo)...
That first one you posted sounds like what it is. they are in clutches 3/4 of them. will have to break one open next time. no males around her so they are probably unfertilized like you said.
They claim to be bi-ligual!
