AFAICS there is no mrcs.net around, nothing loads up. so not sure what the heck he is doing. if there is such indeed a site as that name then its just a blanket attempt to spam for people to join up. even though he is saying, "not trying to spam"  looks like a cmya type thingy if you ask me.

Neo, Mr Computer's Help Forum has been around for a long time & is quite well known to TechIMO's admins. Rick is NOT spamming anyone!!
Many of us are members there & have been for yrs.
<edit-added> Besides, since when is merely mentioning another forum "spam"?? I remember MANY "New forum! Come see!" announcements that were welcomed as long as it was tasteful & wasn't posted multiple times.

Exxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxcusee me Ed_S, i was well aware that Mr.Compter been around for a long time. his thread title did not appear to be related to Mr.Computer, he had mrcs.net so I didn't put two and two together. okay.
site is down so can't give a viable opionion on the changes.
