You can tell by looking at the photos they were taken at great distance. Which to me says without permission. Why can't the president just have a personal life with out people attempting to harass and ridicule him constantly?
Any celebrity for that matter. I think it's pretty warped the public's need to look at things that are not their business and pry into someones personal life. Shame on CNN.

gotta agree with surreal on this one . nomatter what you think of Bush he does deserve time out of the spotlight . he might be president but he is still a person .

You'd likely fall off also the first time also. Gyro-stabilization and steering/braking/acceleration by just by moving your body weight around when standing on a single axle is a wierd sensation. Law enforcement in some cities undergo 2-day training and familiarization with the Segway.
