greatest american? Homer? from simpsons? i thought they wouldnt live in America, because in one episode, they crossed out the states where they couldnt visit, and the last one was north dakota or something like this but they dont live there, so they cant be american!

I'd hate to spoil the suprise, but the Simpsons live in Kentucky. In the 'Behind the Laughter' episode, they say this. However, evidence on my table points to New Jersey, especially in the episode where Homer becomes the town sherif.
