Throughout history there have been examples of leaders restricting the rights of citizens while claiming that those who are law abiding, "normal" people have nothing to fear. In this cartoon there's The Inquisition, the Puritans (Salem witch trials, I assume), a Nazi, and our own beloved Attorney General's office. If history truly does repeat itself, we're all in a world of hurt.
