Where do you go to get shirts printed?

My wife has designed a few t-shirts and she wants to get a bunch printed to sell at meetings she attends. Does anyone know where you can get a good quality print and t-shirt for a reasonable amount?

I know in college the guys would print multi-colored designs and pay $8/ shirt. My wife can't find anything even near that price. Currently, she uses an online shop that does it for her, but she is limited to the amt of colors and the product is like an iron-on transfer (a little better quality, but not much). On top of that, they charge over $15 per shirt.

Thanks for any input.
Dave

where do you live? round these parts (western pa) there are a few local owned printing shops that will do the job. i am sure there is something around your area, look in the phone book for screening.

Dave, check the yellow pages under sporting goods - anyone that does team uniforms can do it.
In between youth sport seasons is their slow time, and that's now. Baseball teams are already outfitted by now, and soccer's a long ways off.

Point being that they have idle time & need the work, thus may make deals...

The local college may be able to do it for you. Actually you can't do this on base?
I remember my dad on one base he was on could have this done. He could also have decals put onto tiles for us.
In fact that may have been Dover Air Force Base. Just a bit far though?

Thanks, guys. Wendy's been looking online because she was under the impression that screen printing (not sure if that is the only option since I know nothing about the processes available) is very expensive. I'll see what we have here in the KBAD area.
Thanks
Dave

Dave, screen print doesn't have to be expensive. For my baseball team's jerseys, the artwork fee was a one-time thing, about $35. He keeps the actual screenprint on file, and when we need new jerseys, all we pay is a setup fee, about $10, plus about a buck per shirt, plus the price of the garment.
Since we've kept the team name "Aces" so long, my screenprint's 4 yrs old & has been used on... well, a LOT of shirts! This year's jerseys cost $19 per including tax, setup, everything. More than you're wanting to spend, but these are NOT t-shirts, and you won't need iron-on numbers on the back either!
