Telemarketer Peeves
The dreaded telemarketer... Why do you dislike (assuming you dislike recieving telemarketing calls) recieving calls from telemarketers?

I work 4pm to midnight.. and usually get to sleep around 4am so its not uncommon for them to wake me up at 9am

I just don't like telemarketers. Period. Don't sell me stuff, I'm not gonna buy it.

One of my friends got a 2 week stint as a telemarketer. Says it was a pretty horrible job, but he got some good laughs out of it.

If they do call, just keep em on the phone, ask them a million and one of the stupidist questions you cant think of, keep asking the same ones. Keep them tied up and not calling others, if you have time that is.

i am 4- 1am worker so they always wake me up . i just say hold on put them on hold and leave them there .

It depends how rune the person is on the other end. If they are being nice, I just say "no thank you" as nicely as possible.
Since I don't make any decisions for the family, but sound a bit like my dad (I think we sound completely different) they call and ask me questions.

If they are going to try and force me to listen to them I have many tactics of lame torture for them. Give them all sorts of excuses, ask them silly questions, or let my little brother tlak to them.
If the same company calls back again, that's when I answer the phone and think up something on the spot to amuse myself with.

*EDIT* The phone wakes you guys up? Man I must be more thankful for being a teenager! I can sleep right through just about anything.
