Unable to login?

I didn't see anything in the FAQ about this, so...

I can't login to pic gallery or to do a review on a piece of hardware. Are there a certain number of "posts" I need before I can do this?

Are you getting a login error? Check your system time (make sure its correct) and check to see if you're able to accept cookies. I'm not sure how different the user reviews and gallery are from the board but I think they're integrated enough to use the boards cookies. And from what I know there is no post requirement to post pics or write reviews. But then again, what do I know.

I don't believe it has anything to do with your post count. What exactly is the error? Is it rejecting your username and password?

I login to do a review or comment on a pick and when I click submit, it asks me to login again and takes me back to the original form to fill out.

I have "CookieWall", but I don't see how I can do a regular post and not the reviews or comments to pic's.

I'm pretty sure this is because of your cookies (or rather your rejection of them). You could try temporarily changing the entries in your user control panel to "Automatically login when you return to the site? (uses cookies)" and "Browse board with cookies?" and/or place TechIMO in your list of "Trusted Sites"

Thank you Fingers, it worked just fine. I just told "CookieWall" to accept the cookie from TechIMO.

Thank you to Praetorian ... at least for knowing the difference between DiskDruid and DiskDrake.
