Oh the memories

I was browsing through SysOpt yesterday, trying to find what my first thread was. I now know, and have some laughs to share. from the past.

First off, I found my original nick with SyOpt was not Reddog, but in fact, was an interesting little nick I forgot I ever used:

Hmmm.....interesting.

What's even more interesting is how much I've 'matured' over the internet. Good lord! It looked like I somehow escaped from the deepest, darkest lairs of IRC into a fourm. I shake my head in shame now and wonder why I wasn't permanently banned from SysOpt.

But anyway, here's some laughs:

Here's a thread about Hard Drives that ended up with me and other guys reccomending that the starter get an IBM drive. If you are famiiliar with the 'DeathStar' drive, you'll get a kick out of this:

haha...yeah, I remember when the 75GXP was the shiznay...actually, I bought a 45gb - still have it, never failed...almost 3 years old (I think). WinME....what was WinME supposed to be? I sold my upgrade copy that came with my Dell, on ebay for $25 a while back...probably can't do that now.

I came to SysOpt with little knowledge of the internet, message boards and the English language. I learned a lot, but there's still much to be learned.
