Salon.com reported she went through multiple ghost-writers to complete that book. Tough to work for doesn't begin to cover it, I guess.
Hillary for President, eh? If she runs against Bush in 2004, I'll be voting for the Indy or Libby.

I might read it but I wouldn't BUY it.
Bill O'Reilly had Barbara Walters on at length Friday night and discussed her interveiw about her book and her aspirations for tha future. As far as 2004.. no Bush ( republicans ) for me..

Rush Limbaugh does the same thing. As do many writers, including William Bennett. The press is really blowing the ghost-writer thing out of proportion and is on the verge of putting many writers out of business and degrading political writing severely if put into the hands of the politicians instead of the ghost writers. You KNOW Robert Richmond has a ghost writer who could severely suffer from the backlash of this media scorn. just kidding!!!
Don't get me wrong though- I am NOT defending Hillary. I STILL think she is the worst thing that could befall this country short of a 3rd term by her husband or a term won by Al Gore.
I won't read, buy or do anything other than turn the book face-down at Barnes and Noble display with this book. |

The book is part of the Clinton's attention grabbing conspiracy to keep the Democrats in the 2004 race from getting press. She can't afford to have a democrat beat Bush in '04 - leaving her no choice but to run in '12 (or do a Vince Foster). She will be too old. Her only chance is to shaft her ENTIRE DEMOCARTIC PARTY to get her shot in 2008.
She and Bill are shafting the Demo's big time, and the Demo's are too wimpy to utter a peep!
Personally, I think at this point she is the easiest democrat to beat. According to many analyists, she is seen as a divisive, manipulative figure. Middle and upper class women (the female swing vote) see her as a pathetic power monger and feel she sold her sole for power and accepted her husbands numerous public affairs in exchange for glory. When she runs, it will all be about Bill and Hill and the issues will never bubble to the surface.
BTW: She wrote a thesis at her college (Wellesley, I believe), that remains sealed, even to this day. That secret will have to come out, and it is not in the book...
