What a Day.............

The good part of this whole day, (Besides CE that is!) has to be finding the remaining items needed to make the 2 or 3 candles I have planned to make. However................

We were at the craft store, who just happened to have these nice yard chairs, so CE convinced me to try it out, to see if it would work for me. I have trouble getting in and out of some types of chairs thanks to my back. Well, the trouble started when I tried to stand up, placing my weight on the arms, to lift myself out of the chair. Did I forget to mention, this was a plastic chair, and the floor appeared to be freshly waxed?!?

You got it, the chair slipped right out from underneith me, and down I went to the nice hard floor, hitting my left arm. Not exactly the way I wanted to spend my afternoon..........

Ah angel cat, Im sorry that is horrible.
I do hope that you both had advised the management the danger of those chairs slipping and someone else coming along might not be so nice as you folks and suggest they put some sort of area rug under the table/chairs sets.

Ugh. That sounds painful.

We have chairs at work with adjustable arms. They're so worn that sometimes the arms will collapse if you lean on them to stand up. I hate it when that happens.

Hope your arm heals up quick. I guess CE will have to do all the cooking and housework this week, eh? And maybe next week, too?

I have to admit, the two of us are a real pair, him with his banged up ribs, and me with a banged up arm and rear...... Trust me, it is taking everything I can do to keep him from doing things around here that will lead him to further injury to those ribs.
