What is the story behind your nickname?

Just wondering if anybody has some good stories about how they got their nicknames (used for techimo).

Here's the story of my nickname "Droppyale".

I was born with a defect... curved feet, when i was a little kid i used to walk with my 2 feet curved in... so everybody started calling me "Droopy" like the cartoon... this was when i lived in Venezuela.

Anyways, to make a story short... back in 95 when i first came here, i was clueless about internet and e-mail.... so my friends back in my country decided to make up an e-mail account for me, so they did! and guess what they came up with?

"droppyale"

Droppy = cartoon "Droopy"... They misspelled it

Ale = Alexander (my name)

Hey, cool idea for a thread.

My wife and I are birders and I've always enjoyed ospreys in particular. I believe they're found on every continent (maybe not Antarctica).

i loved to play Creatures (first AI game in the world) it's so cute and awsome, i just had to choose that as nickname.

6 years ago i was trying to make a name to use for www.zone.com, but all of them I came up with were takin. At that time I was eating a biscuit, so I said why not, i'll be the Biscuitkid. But it didn't look cool so I thought of another way to spell it. It came out at Bizkitkid.

I have used it ever since, the only thing that has changed is the number on the back of the name.(I would forgot my passwords )

But of course we all know limp bizkit sucks,(A lot of people accuse me as a fan) but i just can't get rid of a name i've had for six years that many people know. Wherever you see the name bizkitkid thats me, i've only found one other guy with the same name and that was on the zone, but I don't go to the zone anymore.

Hockey is my favorite sport and the Hartford Wolf*Pack is the hometown team.

They are also the AHL affiliate of the New York Rangers ( who suck, but are still my favorite)
