Wonder what made Mr. Wolfowitz want to suddenly say all of this..
Maybe he doesn't like his job? Right now there is a lot of evidence going each way on whether or not the war was about oil and whether any WMD's will be found.

Excuse me???
Iraq is a totalitarian nation led by a bad man. There were rumors (and yes, some previous evidence) of WMD. The people of Iraq were treated like garbage.
Now compare that to;
North Korea is a totalitaian nation led by a bad man. They are actively flaunting (and threatening the use of) WMD's. The people of North Korea are treated like garbage.
Notice the difference: The WMD are in plain site, and the threat of their use is current. However, lets be honest. North Korea has no major resources, no developed industry, and no economic leverage with the US. Therefor they aren't going to get diddily.
By the way, where are all of those posts about how Dubya knows what he is doing, this is all for the people of Iraq, and so on?
C'mon, guys, back up your failure proof president or admit it, he suckered us all.

****** is a totalitarian nation led by a bad man. There ARE WMD. The people of ***** were treated like garbage. Homeless people roam the streets in the hundreds in every city. The education system and electrical/power systems in some parts of the country are on the verge of collapse. The rich number less than 10 percent, but own 90 percent of the economy. Criminal activity involving businesses and the government is rampant. The government is widely known to support big business against the common man. Using reasons of terrorism, the military invades countries unable to possibly protect themselves in the name of justice, peace, democracy and the American way.
Sorry CERuppel, your reply inspired me |

Unfortunately for those of us who suspect the worst, the Guardian's story is probably the result of a mistranslation from the German; Kevin Drum sets us straight.

I reluctantly have to agree. He clearly meant to point out that Iraq could not be economically bullied. Close, but no cigar Guardian.

Man, it is glad to see all of this America hating going on from the inside. With (citizens) like this, who needs enemies. Don't some of you ever have anything nice to say about the free-est nation in the world?
