Spurs vs. Nets - Who's going to be the 2003 Champions?

So game 1 tonight. Who's going to win it?
Duncan and the Spurs or Kidd and the Nets?

I think I don't have an opinion on this... Just glad that the Lakers don't have a chance.

Since they're from here so I'd go for the spurs but then I hardly ever watch sports except for some footballs and baseballs.

It's odd... I like Duncan because he's just a great team leader and even when he's fouled he doesn't act like he wants to kill people (unlike people like Shaq).

On the other hand I like Kidd because he's also the team leader and he's just an all around good player.

I'm kind of curious to see how the Spurs will try and eliminate the Nets and their fast breaks.

Is anyone else disappointed that Nowitski & the Mavs won't be there this year? They looked really good destroying the Kings in 2003 with dagger after dagger.

Oh man, you can say that again!! All kind of foul words come to mind when one thinks about the Lakers.

Anyway... I honestly don't think the Nets have a chance. Not that I'm a Spurs fan or hate the Nets. I expect it'll go 6 games at the most, but no less than 5.

I don't think they quite destroyed the Kings. Besides there was no way they were going to be the Spurs even with Dirk. Van Exel was one of the only players on the whole squad that could score.

That will happen if the Spurs play well and expect the best from the Nets.
The Nets did get slaughtered last year, but this year they are serious and want it.

Everyone is underestimating the Nets a couple weeks ago. Last night everyone was talking about how they have a shot.
Let's see if they or not.
