Resume\CV bolstering - need help

Hey,
I'll be applying for a job soon, and am just constructing my CV, you'll find it here. Apparently the formatting is messed up, sorry about that - appleworks made a meal of it methinks. But other than that, can anyone think of anything else to add to it?

I've not done any proper jobs other than 2 day stints farm labouring. I think some more about myself wouldn't go amiss, but i'm not sure. Any advice gratefully received,

-sean

Way too young to have a CV... yours is just a resume.

Don't use words like "keen" =) Well maybe it is ok.. you're fresh out of school.

Clean up that format and I will be able to provide a more in depth analysis.

I have emailed you a copy of my resume for an example. It has been thoroughly evaluted by many so is a pretty accurate representation of what one should look like. Feel free to steal the format.

BTW: section on personal info is a big no-no. Here in the States anyway... they aren't even allowed to ask you those sorts of questions.

Ahh suckage (about the personal info). Thanks, Gomer. It's nice to know you took the time to take a peek at it

I think your basic layout is VERY good. No complaints. You need to improve the word-processing aspects if you want to impress someone with your computer skills, such as how to indent paragraphs and such. DO NOT use tabs to align your paragraphs.

I'm a strong advocate of highlighting a skill you learned from your experience that might help your potential employer. Such as, "During my experience tutoring P6 and P7 students, I learned how to..." whatever.

Anyway, a well done resume that you can send through e-mail is a great start.

Mr. Chund Man:
I just sent the resume to the e-mail address listed on the resume. Probably want to make the changes and re-post the resume for everyone.
