Hmm, a tough decision between cold stuff and microwave stuff. I guess I usually throw the cold stuff in the microwave

Don't get me wrong though, I'm in no way beyond eating the day old pizza thats been on the counter the whole time

I didn't vote for anything as they all apply to me. It depends what my stomach asks for at the time

Edit: it also depends on what I can be bothered doing at the time. Sometimes I might really want pizza but end up just eating several packets of crisps (I think they're called potato chips in the US).

I don't use the micro much due to the fact that it wakes up my daughter. Same goes for the stove, its gas and the "sonic boom" it makes when the oven burner lights usually wakes her up to. Her room is right next to the kitchen, and she is a light sleeper.

The cold stuff at my house:
1. cereal & milk
2. carrots w/dill dip
3. malted milk balls

Normally just a powerbar or some trailmix. I try not to use the microwave as it'll wake up the roommates, but anything laying around is usually fair game on those late night munchy sessions.

I noticed this thread and I'm sure nobody wants to hear this, but you SHOULD hear this.

For those of you who are uncomforable with you body because you feel it is too fat (the majority of america), you should atleast know this:

You should avoid eating within a few hours of when you plan on going to sleep AT ALL COSTS. If you have cravings for junk food, dont always ignore them (this will drive you crazy), but instead, indulge in those cravings some time during the day when you know you will not be going to sleep anytime soon, like no sooner than 5 hours.

The only people who should eat before going to bed are bodybuilders who are looking to add more mass. And even then, this late night snack should be mostly protein and low in carbohydrates (unless they're REALLY trying to get huge).

I know most people think that changing their body is going to necessitate radical lifestyle changes, but following easy, simple recommendations like I give could have you losing pounds in no time. With no exercise required!!!! However, I DO recommend exercise.

Feel free to PM me for more info. I am an American Council on Exercise certified personal trainer.
