The local radio station (93.5 WTPA) is having a contest where you win $93.50 and get entered into a drawing to win a trip to Puerto Vallarta. The way it works is they will play a sounder, if you are caller number 25 you win. Well I had been trying for about 3 weeks, last week on my way home from work they play the sounder. I think nah not this time (what they do is play the sounder and then a song, when the song is over they take the 25th caller) well about 3/4 of the way through the song I decide to give it a try, yet again. I dial and it was busy, did that for 4 or 5 times, then it starts ringing just as the song ends. So the DJ talks to the traffic guy for abit, still ringing on my end, he goes to the phone and says you just won $93.50, guess who was on the other end. Me, all I could say was sweet.
So now I got some $$ coming my way in about 4 weeks and on June 9th I am invited to a party where they will pick the winner of the trip to Puerto Vallarta. Ohhh I am also entered into a drawing to win $1,000,000.
Man that would be killer if I were to win the trip and $$, can you say party at korgul's

How many people have been entered into the contest?

I remember on FM 97 WLAN they did a thing where the 97th caller won the prize.. I think they just randomly picked someone and said they were the 97th caller though.

Mike I was the 53rd winner, they do 3 winners aday (not weekends) for 1 more week.
I won on Wed, last chance of the day, so that is a total of 7 more days or 21 chances + the 53 = 74 total winers.

Not bad odds 1/74, was 1 in ????? how ever many list to the station.

If you are into classic rock music then this is the best one around.

No I don't and I haven't found it yet. I seem to be in radio starvation land up here. I've found a gen x that is only OK, and there a rock station that advertises Rock without the edge . But I never listend to that cause it seems to me rock with out the edge is Muzac.

Lets see GenX would be 105.7 the X, I think.

Rock without the hard edge, I think is the River, might be 92.7 not sure.

If you like the classic rock ie Zepplin, Stones, Foghat, Journey, ZZ Top ect then you would like 93.5.
