Sounds like good news to me. If you're gonna steal, you better be prepared to face the consequences.

I am here at Purdue, where some of the raids went down. While I see the point in attacking the Warez group, I think that the media's portrayal as all of these kids as hackers is ridiculous. If go read Yahoo, ABC, NY Times' atricles, it is filled with stereotypes and gross misuse. Although the dictionary defines a hacker as definition 1.) Someone proficient at programming or using a computer....so in the end we all may be hackers |

Can you call a person who does all settings and configurations in the registry, without an editor, a hacker? Hehehe |

There are like 17 million warez sites out there in cyberspace. This problem is here to stay.
A few years ago it was the bootleg software CDs sold at $5 each. Music Cds are still sold at $5 near subway entrances in NYC. All Hong Kong/Chinese made.
The warez sites are in Russia, Poland, Germany (most), and right here.
Maybe I'm skeptical, but nothing will happen here, IMO

This whole warez thing pisses me off. Unless it's a version of windows, and then I just think it's funny, though still dangerous. This is what open source is all about. If you don't want to pay for something, or don't want to pay the exhorbitant M$ tariff, then use Linux, Star Office, stuff like that. My brother in law is always opening up our connection to Kazaa, and others. So then even DLing my mail is time consuming... Argh...

| won't have to worry about that, as Kazza is being shut down.
I wonder if there gonna ever start hitting the IRC channels?
