In all the hubbub regarding the "rescue" of Private Lynch it has always been stated that she is suffering from amnesia and knew nothing of her capture etc. However, as reported today her father states that contrary to reports, his daughter never suffered from amnesia.
Also... regarding the decapitation strike of 40 some cruise missiles meant to kill Saddam et al. Col. Tim Madere of the Army's V Corps stated "We looked real hard" "We didn't find any bodies or bunkers."
I don't know who to believe anymore. We can't believe the U.S. government, and we can't believe most news agencies.
Are their bunkers or bodies? I somewhat doubt it, but what's done is done.
Very interesting statement, seeing how they have found a complete underground network. Arab TV showed bodies being removed from many of the strikes and some said they saw someone that looked like Saddam. Whether it was him or not remains to be seen.
As for PFC. Lynch, if she doesn't have amnesia, I am sure she wishes she did. The only reports I have heard of her treatment were severe. I can't get into too much more because I do not know what was reported on TV and what I heard elsewhere.
