Bah, I didn't like Clinton at all. He was a charismatic person and all, and probably would have been a great leader on his own. But he had the WORST staff. C'mon. Al Gore? What was he thinking? (Sorry Gore fans) They 'lost' a couple millions of dollars worth of jet fighter planes. And whoever breifed the guy on Osama wasn't very good at all, hence why the WTC got bombed twice. (I'm not blaming WTC on anyone but Osama and his Terrorist cronies. I'm sayiong had Bill and Co decided to blow the Taliban off the face of the earth, we would have been spared some senseless destruction. It's not necessarily one poor guy's fault either.)
Bush by himself would probably not do too well on his own (understatement). But his staff is very good (except for his
PR people, who he needs to replace). He obviously has some able advisors and cabinentmen.
But extending the term limits? No, I think not. One 13 year persident is 1 too many. True, FDR was a very able leader, but he shouldn't have run for more than 8 years.
Washington set the 2 term standard, but it wasn't law until after FDR.
