Bob Hope

Happy Birthday to the soldier's soldier!

I salute you Sir!

For those who didn't know, Bob Hope is the last living Honorary Veteran! Bob was given his Honorary Title through an Act of Congress in 1993 for ALL that he has done for us in the Military Forces!

I personally met one other person that had recieved an Honorary Commission, Special Forces Col. Martha "Maggie" Raye in the field in Alaska back in 1983.

I am sorry that I never got to see Bob Hope while I was in the military.

Birthday wishes, Mr Hope. Never did see Bob, but when in boot camp in 1962, Joey Heatherton put on one hell of show !!!!!!!!!!

100 years old! Think of it! although I miss George Burns, no entertainer has been to 100(please name one, I'm foggy here) We love you, Bob. Like I said in the other post, if not a Medal of Honor grantee , at least a ship as his namesake. Make it a carrier. He deserves it.
