A lot of users here had accounts created when we moved over from sysopt.. that is a fairly good indicator

Without getting into the entire situation, those members carried over their original community join date from SysOpt. TechIMO was originally founded in 2001, after certain unpleasant circumstances occured to the staff at SysOpt.
I can not go into details due to extenuating circumstances, but the search button would yield a wealth of information on this topic.
Several people have been members of our "community" for many years, some dating back to the mid-90s.

Doors were opened 10/10/01, and due to the "extenuating circumstances" ;D there were several HUNDRED registered that same day.
Also, some of the older registration dates are from the Reseller Ratings database, which is MUCH older.

ya I believe TechIMO gained a little 'baby fat' with the addition of the RR userbase 
About 50,000 worth haha
This place is still a youngin' ... kinda like blood luster
