"[T]he strongest evidence to date...
...that Iraq was hiding a biological warfare program...": two empty trailers. Quote: |
No actual prohibited weapons were found in the trucks, but intelligence officials say the vehicles fit the description of a mobile biological weapons laboratory received from an Iraqi source.
| Well, that should dispel any residual doubt about the Iraqi weapons program, I guess...

Geeze, Theo...
You keep acting like the search is over.
It's not.
Want us to give up now? Or keep looking?

I just can't see the reasoning behind those that whine "You haven't found any WMD in Iraq, therefore the attack was wrong." That's just like saying "Well, a guy walked into a building and threatened he had a bomb. The police shot at killed him but no bomb was found, the police were wrong." We called Saddam's bluff, what's the big deal?

? for ya' Theo --
When they found what causes SARS, many of the top scientists said they should be able to stop the spread and have a vacine rather quickly. What happened???
The dang thing started mutating and spreading!!
Point is . . . . . Should we hang them out to dry becuase they haven't been able to stop SARS or find a vacine as quickly as they thought? Should they stop looking?
Give it a chance and a reasonable amount of time! Notice, I said reasonable . . . . . .
Harder

| Blueliner, your analogy's wrong. It's like a guy is in a building making a lot of noise; the cops say "We just know he's got a bomb." He yells, "No, I don't have a bomb, you #$*^&!" The cops charge in, kill him, don't find a bomb, but that's okay, because he was making noise. And he called them "#$*^&!"

Yup, Theo is right, the analogy is wrong. Iraq never said they had any weapons like that, it was us who said that.
