cool window sticker.

after repling to knotheads thread about needing a prayer or two in regards to his house hunting,i remembered something i saw in the back window of a pickup this afternoon.

everyone must remember the stickers of calvin(of calvin and hobbes fame,my personal favorite comic strip)pissing on various names of competitor brand vehicles??

well,this sticker really hit me hard,so to speak.

it was calvin on his knees praying in front of a cross.

now,i m not a Christian(not yet,anyway ),but seeing that sticker sure made me think for a minute.....

Sometimes the most mundane or silly things can make us aware of our mortality, and how much we need to find out why we are really here, and what life is really about.

The wierdest thing is, the person that created that sticker may never know how much it can be used to reach people with the message of the Cross. God does definitely move in ways we don't understand, mate. We only need to be willing to look for Him.

a good friend of mine has that same sticker...it really is a great one. the first time i saw it i didn't realize it was calvin and i thought "oh great...another one" (i really have issues with commercial christianity), but then i saw it was calvin and i thought "hmm...wow that's cool" like since it was a secular character just puts a different perspective on it.

I find it one of the better window decals..

everyone else either has a guy pissing on chevy/ford or a raiders emblem..

Probably has more impact because we're so used to seeing Calvin peeing on something.

I had to laugh at all the stickers you see before you scroll down to the one with Calvin kneeling in prayer.
