I was always a Ranger Fan first but a Whalers fan (when they weren't playing the Rangers.)

So I guess I don't like the Devils from multiple angles.

I despise the Devils. They just are a cheap/dirty team with their game play.
Their Captain (Stevens) is a thug and I really despise him.

Personally, I'm a life-long Flyers fan (grew up watching Bernie winning back-to-back cups). But when we moved to NJ, I made the decision that if my kids were going to grown up as sports fans here, it would be a bit awkward to always root against the home state teams. It's bad enough having your kids grow up here without making them hate the local sports teams.

Of course, everyone still hates the NY teams.

Ha I never liked the NY teams and well I am going with the Nets in the finals (Probably because I really believe they are going to get crushed)...
I still hate the Devils with a passion.

I understand osprey....I was a Whalers fan "by default" meaning, they were our (and a tear comes to my eye when I say "were") home team.

Call me 2-faced, but when the Whalers were playing anyone but but the Rangers I wore the Green. But when the Rangers came to town, is was red,white, and blue!
