Thing is, the guy (bin Laden) is worth millions, so why would he risk all this by doing all what he has done. Of course he may well want to go out like a martyr but I doubt it somehow.

He may well be in some other country now and indeed some lunatic lookalike in his place in Afghanistan.

No, I don't think he has gone nuts. I reckon he's a shrewd guy but what sort of pleasure he is getting out of all what has happened is beyond a normal persons experience.

I suppose in some ways the only way to find out what he has accomplished is to get into his mindset. These people are living a totally alien sort of lifestyle to the rest of us. What indeed is going through their minds?? They have a totally different view of the world and it's workings.
