I had a thread where I was selling a boat load of stuff. After all interest was finished I boxed everything up and took it to the local ( sort of ) computer store. They gave me $90 for the whole lot. I figured it was better than nothing because it was just going to be tossed. I took the $90 in store credit and $9.95 of my own money and bought an 80GB WD hard drive. When I got it home I did a surface scan on it to test. It started to make a clicking sound. I started thinking, is thing still under warrenty . I check WD's site and what to ya know it is. So I RMA it and sent it off.
Well I should be getting my new 80GB drive tomorrow. I can't wait. My 20Gb that I have now only has 3.5 GB of space left.
All in all I paid $9.95 for a brand new 80GB WD drive. What a deal.
I only wish we had stores around here that did that. I suppose the market is so saturated with retail stores that no one in their right mind would consider setting up a little shop for used stuff.
