what to get my girlfreind for christmas..

what do you get a girl that already buys and gets what she wants?

i'm stumped here guys. any suggestions? ladies, please give me some ideas. christmas is around the corner.

- forget clothes, we go shopping once a week
- furnature? not a good idea. we just got a dining room and living room set
- candle light dinner and me as a cook? been there, done that.

what next? i hate a day when you have to give presents!!

Give her an hour or a day (depends on your budget and thier price) at a local spa/salon. These things are popping up everywhere and offer services from skin & hair consultation and styling, massages, facial, manicures, pedicures, etc. It's a great gift if you tell her she deserves to be pampered... DON"T ever give her the impression that she is getting this because she needs to improve something that would just blow your Christmas.

Well, ck around ask some of the women at work if there is a Day Spa in your area. It's usually a nice beauty salon that also has lots of extra stuff. Women will go there all day or a half-day and get all fluffy and shiny and pampered.

If not find a nice place (salon) that does Facials, and whirlpool pedicures.

well she's also turning 40 next month and i don't wanna give the impression that sh'es getting old either.

It's really a wonderful "pampering" experience. Put the gift certificate in a card and something sappy like....

A spa package would be a great gift. Definately make sure you don't imply that she needs it though. Even I think I would enjoy the pampering and I am not into the manicure and facial kind of junk. Massages also seem to be popular. Otherwise there is the old stand by: jewlery.

prttybean, you can never go wrong with something shiny and worth over $500. but definately out of my budget.

the problem with the spa is, we just got back from a week long island hopping vacation and pampered ourselves to death. i'm thinkin somewhere along the lines of mentally stimulating and something she'll remember for a while.

i'm gonna miss here cause she's going of to get her masters (degree not cup, for all the jokeers out there). she'll be gone for 2 years. booo-hooo-hoo.

GRRRRR!!! i can't build her a brand new XP rig, she'll think i built it for myself.
