Not that I watch O'Reilly
(or television, for that matter), but he's busted.

Of course not!

I never liked O'Reilly no matter what he's talking about.
Who knows if there were any weapons there.. They may have been smuggled out of the country (doubtful, but i'll buy that excuse)

O'Reilly made a specific pledge, set a specific date, and he reneged on it.
There may be biological and chemical weapons yet to be found, surreal. But the sites identified as high-likelihood have all been checked by now, and the "conclusive intelligence" we had before the war looks less and less conclusive all the time. edited for punctuation

The fat lady hasn't sung... I will reserve judgment until the conclusion. There are 300 scientists associated with the regime to be interviewed, and if weapons cannot be found, what happened? To gloat that the weapons cannot be found, may be something that will come back and bite those people in the arse if in the hands of terrorists.
A regime that killed thousands of their own people (worse than Stalin) will not be missed. In this situation the end justified the means. Even France agrees, so everything must be OK.

Don't have the link right on hand, But this is from a recent article.
The gist is that the US opened a sealled radioactives waste containment (or some such), verified that it contained all sorts of radioactive nastiness, then left the site. Ungaurded and unsealed. Guess what? Its now officially empty.
As for O'rielly (and the press in general), I have taken all reporting with a grain (or two...) of salt (or grain alcohol) for years. The trust that the press once had has long since been tarnished, and this New York Times fiasco is just (a very timely and conviniat) the lastest instance.
The real issue here for me is the trust that the press once had is gone. The people that we once counted on to keep the polititions somewhat under control are now lying to us more than the pols...
(Anyone that can help find a link to the article, I would be very thankful).
