Civil Rights groups...
Gosh they get on my nerves.....
Rev. Al Sharpton in Atlanta announces that blacks do not owe America anything.
The ACLU screams bloody murder over the anti-terrorist policy Bush pushed through (which now there is strong evidence that the policy PREVENTED the capitol from being blow up)
Oddly havent heard from 'ol Jackson.
American universities teach anti-american ethics, and teachers in CA teach students how to burn American flags.
Berkley CA denouces America as a whole city.
And now Americans are coming out defending the two Americans caught fighting for the taliban saying that the have that right.
AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
These people drive me nuts! How can ANYONE condone these behaviors??? How can democrats even be affiliated with these people, unless you yourself HATE America, in which I have these two words for you.. GET OUT!

While I don't always agree with what people have to say, I will forever defend their right to say it. I'm not American myself, but your attitude appears to me to contradict what your country's values stand for: free speech without fear of prosecution. I certainly don't agree with your GET OUT! point of view, but I would defend your right to say it. I think that you should be happy that people in the US can say that sort of thing, whether you agree with it or not.

I tend to agree with shigum. Lots of stuff may annoy us, but it's tolerance and acceptance of individual opinions and rights that make America what it is. The freedom to do things that you believe in, even though it pisses some people off. |

Ya gotta love free will. As contradictory as it seems, you still have to support the person who will fight the country that provides him the freedom he lives under. It's much like burning the symbol (flag) that gives them the freedom to do so.
It's situations like this that are the true tests of tolerance and free will.

While it is well within their right to defend those men, and it should be, my comment was not directed at them. It was directed at the men that left the US and joined a group hell-bent on destroying the US. It is one thing to speak, it is another to take action, or associate yourself with a group taking direct action against the people of the united states as a whole. Should those men be allowed to live in the United states again? I do not believe so. I believe that they forfeited that right by joining a group against the United states, and fighting against the US, and US backed forces, in Afghanistan.

I've got to agree with shigum and scottw.
Agree with krohnjw, They have committed treason and should be tried and punished as such. The rich parents have already hired the spin dr's to tell us how he's just a mixed up kid. BS.
Let the Marines have em for a few minutes.
Shot while trying to escape comes to mind.

I completely support free speech, and I will defend it to the death.
You all are right, those people DO have the right to say those things. However I also have the right to speak out against and rag on those who obviously hate this country. Those people IMO do.

| I know this is a side note......read your Boy Scout manual. This is an acceptable and preferred method of disposing a flag that has touched the ground. Everytime someone mentions this I have to point this out.....Do not vote against burning the flag please, simply educate the correct reason for and the correct way to burn...don't ban it! Teach respect not ignorance! (whew.....thanks for listening...I always have to rant on this one) Quote: |

| Good Point! Why don't they go somewhere else if they don't like it here? Oh, that's right ...they DO like it here...they can protest without getting shot! Oh, they can collect unemployment too! ...Just seems like there always a group of poeple with too much time on their hands.

Anyone who accepts this anti-terrorist policy that was “pushed through” is ignorant or blind. I spent several hours going through it and there is some scary stuff in there. This brings us one step closer to being a communist country! Can’t you people see this idiot is taking more of our rights away?
If you don’t agree read the thing!
