thought u guys might get a kick outt this . i still have my first email adress i got back in 96 when i first got online . they don't charge me much to keep just the email adress so it is nice to have ... well i only pull the email off it once a month or so . well just opened it and have 8169 emails.....talk about spam ...

heh... I get roughly 200 or so spam emails a day on my old Hotmail account. Good 'ol Hotmail... they spam your inbox and overflow it before they 'others' get to it first.

Same thing happened to me with a college email account. Used it for a couple of months, then never checked it for three years. Checked it once before graduation, had several thousand messages: some legit, most spam.
My regular email accounts get hit with several hundred spams per day, as my addresses are posted all over the Internet for those wonderful spambots to find.

That is a great story!
I had a coworker who went on medical leave for several months and when she came back she had a couple thousand messages, with a Exchange server that's supposed to screen spam.

I was getting 40-50 a day, and I set the spam filter, and now I get 4-5 a day,Hotmail is great.

I get about 2000-2500 a week at work with 0 spam. Well, there is internal spam but no internet spam. Thank god for Inbox rules.

with my ISP I get about 5 pieces of spam a day. I was thinking of changing my e-mail till I read this post
