Matrix reloaded broke record for an R rated film by close to $35 million.

It had a 59% of the gross for the top 12 movies.

All in all Matrix reloaded racked over $93 million for the weekend.

Creatures, I think that was mainly because it was a sleeper hit that no one was expecting... I bet most of em saw it on DVD when that came out though... no way to escape the matrix
