How are you guys doing up there? Any damage/flooding near you?

absolutely fine here at our house. we are almost the highest elevation in mqt county.

i guess the steel bridge on co rd 581 between negaunee and big bay has all kinds of debree ,boats,canoes,branches and general flood stuff up against it and has a generous bend in the bridge,and the concrete deck is almost gone. the news showed a pontoon boat going over some sort of bridge or rapids or something and getting smashed to pieces.

three feet of water in the presque isle power plant. had to shut it down,along with both iron mines(tilden and empire)

its said if either dam gives way,there will be 3 feet of water throughout north marquette,including NMU.

I hadn't heard of the flooding.. have some family up there, will have to find out exactly where they are...
