Interior decorating

This is a stunning house, but check out the interior colors. Take the Virtual Tour and see the view from the family room, which is painted pastel mint, to where it meets the living room, which is pink and mauve. This is a $1.5 million house and it looks like some kindergarten kid with bad taste picked out the colors. Blech.

On the other hand, that view from the master bedroom is unreal. I suppose if you can afford a $1.5 million house, you can afford to have it redecorated.

those types of interior decorating are becoming quite the rage these days. I think its nice. gives it a little color but not too much with the exception of the family room. that was a bit too much torquoise. Should have kept the dark torquoise up top trip like the other rooms and a pale pale lighter version of that on the walls.

Much better that plain ole white walls which suck big time. Like the one bedroom that is all white. UGH

Heh. That's what I was thinking, surreal. That pink room reminded me of the Pepto Bismol commercial.

well im not a fan of pink either, however I have to honestly say that it looks better than plain ole white walls.

If ya wanna see something barfy just watch the Trading Spaces show. and watch out for the fabric lady and the fabric man! They like to cover the walls AND ceiling iwth fabrics. UGH. Horrid! they don't relize the cleaning it would entail to keep those rooms clean and free of dust.

The best dude on that one is the short white haird/ bald fella. he is good, got some good artitics skills too.

I love that show Trading Spaces!
I was watching it trying to pick up some decorating tips..
But no way.. I got Fingers to watch it a few times and everything he liked was the rooms before they were redone!
Here's a fun link from Lowes where they have some awesome colors
