x-men 2 a good sequel. anyone eles see it? thoughts?

Well, I've seen it twice now, and I can say it was much better than Lord of the Rings: Two Towers. if you cant or dont want to see the matrix, go see x-men. its a lot of fun

I think I enjoyed it more than people that read the comics.
I'd never read them so I didn't have any expectations about the story or the characters. I liked the 2nd better than the first, but I thought they were both good.

That movie rocked even HARDER than the first!

That blue fellow in the fight to the Predident's office...that was easily the most astounding fight scene EVER.

EVER, I say! If you haven't seen it yet, well, don't be late--- it's right at the beginning!

My only complaint is that it seemed a bit overlong--- by the time it reached the conclusion, you can see it coming, just because they give you so much time to figure it out.

But still, a a FABULOUS waste of 2 1/2 hours! I give it two acorns and a wave of the saw.

Up and until the point when Jean Grey left the ship to hold off the breaking dam, I thought it was good. I thought the way she went out was bogus, there where other mutants present who had powers that could have been used to block the onslaught of the impending deluge.

Of course we’ll see her again I’m sure, rising from the ashes (or in this case the bubbly depths), like a Phoenix.

Never mind the fact the Night Crawler is hanging with his mother Mystique with no apparent recognition of the fact, I’m sure this would be way to complicated to explain within the frame work of a one hundred and twenty minute film.

Ultimately I can forgive the movies deviations, like Jean Grey’s fall, this was not the way she went out in the comic book series; given some of the trash that hit’s the screen today, I enjoyed it immensely and look forward to seeing the next installment.

Warmest Regards,
Zotz Mein

one of my friends spotted a flying bird in the very end of the movie, and thought it was jeab grey evolved. he thinks she didnt really die, but evolved into some sort of bird, which is why her eyes were all fiery. i dont know, MAYBE

You gotta remember though...that Mystique abandoned him when he was still an infant. So it makes sense that he doesn't recognize her...and for all we know she could have assumed a different "shape" and he wouldn't know what his "real" mother looked like anyways.

Kind of like someone else that Mystique raised/tutored for a while...she took on a different shape during that time and naturally this person has no idea that it was really Mystique that brought them up. Course...the way they did this character in the movie is totally different anyways...so it doesn't make much difference. lol.
