Graduated training on May 9th and had family down for a few days - was awesome. Training - hard but awesome. Basic sucked and so does typing on this weird keyboard but AIT (MP School) was spectacular. We got to train in MOUT city (Movement Over Urban Terrain) - a fake village where we practiced assaulting rooms and moving from buildijng to building.....just like playing Rainbow 6!! I've found my true calling in life which is to be SWAT or in some type of urban combat team :-D. I'd go on more but at $1 per 5min @ this terminal, time is money (har har har). I had a few days on pass since I'm waiting to ship to Ft. Benning for 3 weeks of Airborne school **inserts dollar bill** and then I'm off to DC to Ft. Meyer, Virginia which is (unfortunately) my duty station. The way it's supposed to work is if you are an Airborne MP, you are a combat MP ---well all they do @ Ft. Meyer is march in parades, guard gates and other stereotypical MP work.....don't worry, I'll be on the first freaking plane to Iraq ASAP. I heard S. Korea was fun (cheap electronics), plus the way it works there is after your tour in Korea, you are sent to Ft. Bragg home of the 82nd Airborne so MAYBE I'll eventually get detached to a real combat unit :-).
GTG....if you still go there, you can post this on The T of the Mo if you want. Thanks very mcuh....was great to hear from you....won't be able to reply for a few weeks or a month.

I've been to Ft. Belvoir which isn't bad, but never been to Ft Meyer.. don't know what thats like
He maybe able to see a flyover on occasion from over Arlington they have those on occasion, but yeah assume it'd be pretty boring over there!!
He'll defiantely run into a lot of brass too so he'll definately have to mind his P's & Q's
