Four hours in line? I can safely say that there is NOTHING worth waiting four hours in line for. NOTHING.

A friend and I recently waited over 2 hours in line to get on X at Magic Mtn. During a weekday. Just after park opening time. I think they were having technical difficulties again. Was it worth it? Yeah! The ride was insane scary - my first time on this one. Would have to ride it again to get an accurate judgment since it went by so fast. lol

The rest of the day's other rides were met with little or no lines.

I waited well over four hours to ride Splash Mountain last time I was Disney World. I would venture over on the worst day possible, as the park set a new attendance record that day.

Waiting in line for a lot of the main rides at Cedar Point is definetely worth the wait. Especially for that roller coaster. If I go visit my friends in Michigan, I will be sure to suggest a Cedar Point trip.

jeez, and it sounds like its about the shortest ride in existence too.. kinda like the demon drop or The Edge (depending if you're at great america, or cedar point)

It must last a whopping .5 seconds once you're already at the top!!

Mike did you ever ride the magnus?

Cedar point is very well known for having the tallest roller coasters

Top Thrill Dragster

Finally, an answer to the question:
"What does it feel like to cruise to Earth from a height of more than 400 feet at speeds exceeding 100 mph?"

Cedar Point amusement park/resort stuns thrill-seekers in 2003 with the debut of the park's unprecedented 16th, yes, 16th roller coaster - Top Thrill Dragster. Reaching a stratospheric 420 feet tall and topping out at an unheard of speed of 120 mph, this new steel screamer helped Cedar Point reclaim the title of owning the tallest and fastest roller coaster in the universe.

Riders begin their epic journey aboard this whopping 42-story screamer by securing themselves into ultra-cool trains that resemble top fuel dragsters. The train then moves into a "starting line" position, where it launches forward, reaching speeds of 120 mph in approximately four seconds.

But hold on … this isn't your father's roller coaster. The train then zooms straight up the 420-foot-tall hill on track that rotates 90 degrees, crests the coaster's apex and then free-falls back to Earth, reaching a speed of 120 mph for the second time. As the train races more than 400 feet to the ground, the track twists an unbelievable 270 degrees - what a rush! Riders then return to the station to begin regaling their friends with stories of the greatest ride of their lives.
THe thing that sucks, is after you ride the ride once.. well you've wasted 4 hours of the day just standing there

I hope you guys know it's just for bragging rights...
Eventually the ride will die down in popularity, it's just people have to be the first to go and ride it.
