online radio stations make money? they must have to pay liberties or something to play the songs so they would also have to be making money to stay in existance. i use the radio from winamps website and i set the link as a favorite and just click it when i reboot or whatever. i never see any ads, maybe once a week will i hear a comericial on their radio, how do they make money??

Don't forget winamp radio stations maybe backed by AOL.

Most stations I"ve heard do have some sort of commercials, not like on the radio but on occasion.
