suggestions on a radar detector please
i want to get a radar detector for my dad for father's day.

but of course i don't know what brand/make/model to get.

can i get some suggestions?

Most radar detecters are good. What you would like to get is a laser descramble. More and more cops are starting to use the laser guns.

I second the Radio Shack detector. Had one since last year and it seems to work great. Detects coming or going with plenty of time to respond ( unless your hauling A$$..LOL )

V1's are excellent radar detectors. If you are willing to spend the money on them.

Take off your front (reflective) license plate. It is a perfect laser reflector. It extends laser pick-up by 200+ yards. I know it is illegal, but there is more to life than laws...
